Letter regarding Exit Strategy Article:
Hi Kerry:
On top of this, Chirac believed there were WMDs, Schrader believed there were WMDs
Being a student of international law, I am a believer in George Shultz's analysis of resolution 1441 and that totally justified the war in Iraq. Tony Blair used a similar argument in Parliament. Every law has a punishment, and invasion was this resolution's. If the other members of the Security Council did not expect it, they should never have passed resolution 1441. Not acting makes the Council look impotent, so in effect, the US and the UK saved the possibility of the entire United Nations collapsing I really believe that.
Pity Kofi doesn't realize it.

Letters Regarding PETA article:
Hello Kerry,
I am not sure if you are aware of the new Bill that HSU and PETA and of all people who went to bed with PETA is AKC. This Bill in the US will forcible is the end of all Hobby breeders across the country. My family and I Show and Breed the Hairless cats called the Sphynx. We have been at it for many years now but the Sphynx is still a low number breed. If this Bill passes then many breeds within the Cat Fancy could in the long run face extinction. We need so many litters a year, not for money but a better gene pool to have a hardy and healthy feline.
This is what can be scary for many breeders down the road. See the US government USDA can not in no way do that many home inspection for Hobby Breeders. So what the Government will propose Senator Rick Santorum is that USDA contract the work out to knowledgeable companies such as HSU and PETA. Now put your thinking cap on! How many PETA employees do you think will try and seize animals from homes? Or better yet how many PETA or HSU employees end up in a pool of blood?
I know The US and other countries have a problem with Puppy mills and maybe a few Cat mills but I think it is up to the State and not the Federal government to stick ther noise in it and sleep with PETA such as Senator Rick Santorum and AKC has. I invite you to come and see and read PET-LAWS on Yahoo groups if you would like to see the many breeders who are upset over AKC and this new Bill.
Robert
Your article on PETA is masterful. Well done.
Letter regarding Michael Jackson's Article:
Hi Kerry
Your very biased and possibly racist comments on MJ comes from a person unable to comprehend the innocence of eccentric individuals. I think your critique on Michael Jackson is crap and pitiful that one has to earn a living writing for the blind.

From the article: Why the Rush To Death? Terri Schiavo
That is so totally like what the Nazis would do!
Living in Germany, one can see lots of reminders, big and small, of the things Nazis did. Some might argue the concentration camps and their millions of victims stand out. Others might argue that starting a war that saw tens of millions lose their lives was no great feat either.
If you ask Kerry L. Marsala however, she'll tell you that the worse thing the Nazis ever did was their slightly less well-known scheme of causing potassium imbalances in unsuspecting victims, leading them to suffer a heart attack which in turn caused brain damage due to lack of oxygen, only so they can later be given percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) to provide nutrition and hydration and kept on life support machines for 15 years in a permanent vegetative state, after which the PEG tube is removed according to your wishes (as determined in court proceedings:)
As an innocent life slips away through methods used by those of Nazi Germany, the spinning heads of the media circus continue to flap their lips over the case of Terri Schiavo...and nothing within this mess makes any sense.
Kerry to the rescue! Her punctuation may never make sense, but the arguments are always sound:
Parents who love their children today in the United States have had all their rights stripped from them by a system gone mad.
Fortunately, we don't have children. And we can promise you that when we do (June 18, 2005) we are going to hate them with a vengeance! Which means our rights are safe --- thank God the system works!
I shutter to think of what our future holds, now more than ever.
Leave it to the shuttering classes to be our leading beacons of nabobs of negativism. Sons of bitches!
Terri, Mr. and Mrs. Schindler and family, you've moved the masses to action. Terri, you never intended to become such an important figure to the American people, nor to the world, but you've left your mark on this planet.
Kerry, the people of the world, they're not crying with you, they're crying at you.

My favorite part:
"Terri, I never knew you personally, but without a doubt, part of your memorial needs to include ..."
followed by a paragraph of praise not for Terri, but for Terri's parents and those - like Kerry - who tried to "save" her.
What a way to turn someone's death (whenever she died is debatable, but still) into a moment of self-righteous self-congratulation. It's bad manners, too - writing a dead person's epitaph when you didn't even know them and then barely mentioning the person in the memorial.
Just more proof that this was never about Terri and all about her whacked-out "saviors."

Parents who love their children today in the United States have had all their rights stripped from them by a system gone mad.
What "rights" would those be, concerning parents and their 41-year-old married children? Please, Kerry, enlighten us.

Well, Good Lord, please don't tell my mom she's still got rights in my life. She's controlling enough as it is!

Yet another wingnut who's "deeply moved"(cough, cough) by the Schiavo case, but didn't give a crap about Sun Hudson, whose death was only the result of a law GWB passed 7 years ago.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Kerry once say she believed one of her kids was going to Hell, or have I confused her with another wingnut?

Prediction: in two weeks, Kerry announces the formation of the Terri Schiavo Martyrs' Brigade.

As an adult, able bodied, non-old person, I say SWEET! No more deficit! But does it have to be euthanasia? Can't we just let Hollywood stuntpersons take a vacation while we use babies, disabled, and old people as extras in John Woo movies, or maybe the next season of 24? The element of realism would be awesome!

As someone living in George W. Bush's economy, I'd say that my parents have plenty of rights in my life. Mostly cause they help pay my monthly medical insurance bill. If I go PVS, it's kinda their choice, because all they have to do is stop paying.

At least we have the comfort to know that Kerry Marsala is strongly anti-Nazi, and will not stand for it when the mad scientists unfreeze the cryogenically frozen Nazis. She'll at least write a column denouncing them and their undead rampage. Eating brains of the living, is so, barbaric, she'll write. The only downside of the Undead Nazi Rampage Column is that Kerry Marsala will have nothing to compare them to.

From article: The Day the American Eagle Was Castrated
Dear Ms Marsala,
You have written a wonderful article. Just terrific. I am emailing it to all my friends. It is important that it be read. Thank you so much for sharing your views on this most tragic situation which never should have happened. For the first time in my life I too am ashamed be an American. .
I could not believe this atrocity as it unfolded over two weeks. I still find it hard to believe. In this day and age, in this country founded on freedom. Do we dare call ours a civilized nation any longer? Oh that poor dear innocent . My heart breaks over her. How could this be done to a helpless child of God? How could her parents be expected to watch their child fade away while they are denied even being able to put water to her parched lips or hold her at the end?
Terri Schiavo lingered two weeks without food or water. She was not terminally ill, nor was death imminent until her feeding tube was removed and she was purposely withheld nourishment for the express purpose of ensuring her death. It is tragic and appalling. And no matter whether one believes she should have been dead or alive, I am sure most agree that we would not put our pets through that.
Judge Greer not only permitted Michael Schiavo's petition. He made it an order. If the unthinkable had happened and Michael Schiavo had had an attack of conscience and changed his mind the order still would have had to be enforced.
When my father became ill, before we knew what was wrong with him, he could not swallow anything. We found out later it was due to a lung tumor pressing in to his esophagus. This was during the time of Hurricane Georges in 1998. He had been released from the hospital in Puerto Rico and the only way to keep him alive was to take him each day to the limited facilities here in Vieques for IV fluids until he finally could be taken to a hospital in St Louis. What he went through was awful.
Unfortunately there is no written documentation regarding Terri's wishes. We have only Michael Schiavo's word and it took him seven years to realize his wife wanted to die, and this was after he received a financial settlement from a malpractice suit regarding Terri Schiavo and after he had taken up with another woman, a common law wife with whom he has two children. This is undoubtedly a conflict of interest regarding his custody of Terri Schiavo. What happened to the sanctity of marriage and Michael Schiavo's vows of "in sickness and health" which he took upon marriage to Terri Schindler? From the malpractice settlement he received over one million dollars. ,000 for his own personal loss and ,00 to go to Terri's rehabilitation. Instead of rehabilitation, he put her in a hospice and with Judge Greer's permission, spent the money on his fight to have her feeding tube removed. Terri's a month nursing costs at the Hospice had to be helped out by monies from Medicaid and her parents. Does this demonstrate responsible guardianship? The Florida Department of Children and Families charged that Terri Schindler Schiavo's husband had abused, neglected and exploited her while seeking the court's permission to end her life. In regard to the questionable conduct as Michael Schiavo has displayed I believe he no longer had a right to be her guardian and if he or the courts had any compassion, custody would have been turned over to her blood relatives who were only too eager to care for her.
That a husband who has moved on with his life can suddenly claim knowledge of his wife's wishes seven years after the fact, with no written documentation, and have that recognized by the courts as proof of his wife's desire to terminate her own life by dehydration and starvation is very frightening indeed. I was in my twenties once too and those considerations were the farthest thing from my mind. At that age, any remarks I might have made would have been off the cuff or flippant. And circumstances often alter cases. What one might have thought at a younger age as a life not worth living often changes as one ages and is faced with lessened abilities, chronic illness and the desire to live on despite them.
The tragic circumstances surrounding Terri Schiavo and her family are particularly painful to me not only because I watched a beautiful young woman die slowly and horribly, but because I also relived the time with my own mother who was in a situation similar to Terri Schiavo. My mother had been a healthy vibrant woman, who worked two jobs and was physically active. However as the years passed she became progressively ill. She was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease which left her bedridden, rigid and severely mentally impaired. At least she could speak, though in a childlike manner. The videos of Terri Schiavo remind me of my mother. Her movements and facial expressions are so similar, the open mouth, the sweet smile, her hands held in the same manner. My mother's head would slide off the side of the pillow which I would have to keep arranging just as I see Terri's mother doing in video clips. When my mother had an MRI the technician reported atrophy of the cerebellum and the cerebral cortex. One doctor who looked at the MRI to told me he was very sorry, nothing could be done. Another doctor told me it didn’t look bad. Two doctors with two different opinions. All I know is that inside that twisted and frozen body, my mother was there. She knew me, she felt joy and she felt pain. I invented stories for her and played her music. She listened.
Some people believed there was no quality of life for my mother and even went as far as to suggest that she should not be kept alive. But my mother was content in her own way. And just to be sure I asked her if she wanted to die. In those days when she was healthy and active she could not have anticipated the end she would come to. But when I asked her she said no and she meant it. What would I have done if she had said yes? I certainly would never have considered removing her feeding tube as any act of kindness. Not even when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I cared for my mother at home and she was on a feeding tube and oxygen just before she passed away peacefully. Terri Schiavo was not terminally ill and she deserved the same right to live, and to depart this earth when God called her. I do know that for someone who supposedly expressed a wish to die she put on a heck of a fight to stay alive. My mother did too.
We can look at things from a scientific and medical viewpoint and we can know that certain things must be so from that knowledge. However that is not always enough. My mother had changed drastically from the person she was, but that spark was still there. Watching the videos of Terri Schiavo I see that spark too. See how sweetly she smiles at her mother and laughs with her father. These pictures of Terri touch me deeply every time I see them. May they haunt those responsible for her murder forever so that this never happens again.
It shocked me that the majority of people polled in the US were in favor of disconnecting Terri Schiavo's feeding tube. North Americans these days seem to find a repulsiveness in old age, mental impairment and disability and prefer these things to be hidden away or cast aside. The United States has become a nation obsessed with the perfect body, plastic surgery, the latest cars and gadgets. What room is there in such a society for people like my mother, Terri Schiavo, Dorothy Holmes Jacobus and countless others? I live on the island of Vieques, off the coast of Puerto Rico. Deformity, mental incapacity, and decline are much more accepted and even respected as part of life. And after watching this sad affair of Terri Schiavo, I wonder have the American people lost their heart? So many concerned with their own agendas and the fall out, political or otherwise. Where was the outrage? A few took a stand, but there should have been many more. That a defenseless, disabled woman was condemned to a slow and painful death while all the powers that be refuse to get involved is a condemnation of this country. Somewhere, deep down inside, the American people and the courts and the politicians know that despite all the rhetoric, this was simply wrong.
I am reminded of the words invoked in 1772 by Lord Mansfield who played a key role in ending slavery in England when he freed the slave whose fate was at issue in Sommersett’s case. "Fiat justitia, ruat coelum - Let right be done, though the heavens fall."

A letter from Jonny, angry Jonny over my article on showing the hypocrisy of some of our celebrities that lean too far to the elitist left. (unedited)
---I ran across you celeberity liberal bashing article today and I have to admit, you are a pretty off your rocker lady. Your good christian ways seem tarnished by jealousy and envy. But then again, most of you god fearing right wing neoconservatives operate within the walls of hipocracy anyways. I am truley amazed at how you so called "
Christians" destroy the idea of what this country is all about. I think that being a celebrity liberal is great. How else can we reach the people, more importantly the youth in america today and teach them to be aware of the atrocities and capitalist murder the right wing retards have imposed on the world today? So what if Streisand and Rondstadt are wealthy. If you dont like what you hear, then don't listen or support them. Plenty of us will continue to do so. Your moral agenda is the most evil thing existing in our society today and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it all starts to bite you in the ass. I praise Elton John and Oliver Stone etc.... These are real people with substance who think for themselves instead of eating all of your forcefed media bullshit and lies. How do you think they got to where they are at? People like yourself are the real terrorists.
You support the mass killing of thousands of people 50% women and children, and 1600 of our own service men and women based on premeditated lies and "God". For godsakes, your president cant even speak right let alone run a government correctly. Don't be defensive and shift your guilty capitalist consience upon the celebrities who are using their famous voice against people like you. At least be a true right wing nut and proclaim your pride in being a heartless capitalist christian war monger. I can stomach people like that. They know exactly what they are. You on the other hand sound like a very spoiled pretensious little girl who cant stand seeing liberals with money. What have you done for society? By the looks of things, not much. Just a lot of whining and bitching.
Bottom line is this:
Your views on this nation only support white christian wealth that condones war.
So where does that leave the non white non christian middle class people who support global peace. NO WHERE.
You just don't get it and I highly doubt you will ever. This is all just a contest to see who can out do the left. But your games are seriously screwing with the common people's lives. So continue your brainwashing and spread of a religion that divides our nation when all christianity seems to be is another form of faschism and dictatorship, and I will continue to reverse your teachings one child at a time. I am an american, and I have a voice that stands against you. I support our liberal celebrities and respect them for encouraging people to think for themselves. And trust me, the celebrities are reading your crap. How do you think i ended up here. Furthermore you are extremely judgemental which is another sin that you commit on a regular basis. I wonder what your god thinks of that? Who the hell are you to tell people how they should dress, how they raise their chidren and what is appropriate in our society today? " He who has not sinned shall cast the first stone" Hmmmmm ring a bell? Yes I was raised in the church and I know my bible. Too bad most of it is a bunch of crap written 100 years after a carpenter who talked a lot died. Not only that, but lets face it, Jesus was a liberal!! He stood up against the established church and taught pacifistic resistance to the romans.
Ok ok, I'm done. I'm sure your flattered that I took the time to read your work and write you this mildly insulting e-mail, but as a celebrity liberal, it is my job. You insulted me first and to be honest, you neocons are a real drag. I will continue to spread my word and support freedom and liberty while donating a percentige of my record sales to social uplift and organizations that support liberal thinking. Oh, by the way, whoever said it was our duty to donate to charity anyways? What have you done besides complain? Your republican, you should be happy right now. :) It makes me sad that I have to raise two children knowing that people like you are lurking in our society.
yours truly

(Re: Americans Generosity- So Why the Hate?)
Unbelievable divel.....you do your country a great dis-service.
When will you folks realize that the grand old USA is a laughing stock worldwide, no one believes a word the USA says any more because of the pack of lies it tries to pawn off on the world, trying to re-write history.
As each day passes this just gets worse, not better.- SP
Dear Mr. P,
First off, I assume you mean drivel? Gee, we are all humans and correct spelling and grammar seem to be a knoll in all our branches. LOL!
Thank you for writing, even though you disagree with me and with much of our nation. I appreciate your candor, it is refreshing for someone to actually disagree and not fill their letters with curse words.
We shall see what becomes of our war on terror. I pray that if it heads in the direction that you desire- good will only come from it- and if it heads the direction our nation overall desires, that only good will come from it.
I can't visualize whirled peas... I mean world peace. As long as the human race contains hatred for others, can it be possible? I doubt it. Last I remember the terrorist did strike the U.S. and other foreigners more than once prior to 9/11.
Look at this way, the head of terrorism lies in Syria. Its body is strewn all across that region of the Middle East. Its heart lay within Iraq. Geographically speaking, in order to gain control strategically, Iraq had to be dealt with as the center focal point. Control of the terrorist hot bed or heart must occur there in order to stop terrorism cells from growing. By growing I don't mean just in size, but in weapons, poison gases, nuclear arms...etc...
Something to think on anyway. I don’t always agree with all our president does, but tell me does anyone ever agree with everything anyone does? However, in studying the Middle East situation- politically and geographically I understand Bush's decision to give the Iraqi people a chance at democracy. It sure as the terrorist running scared. True the media is chanting their car bombings daily, but those of us who don’t live there act as if all these shootings, bombings etc... just began when we went into Iraq. Study your history; this has been going on for centuries. Will we be able to stop it, I don't know. However, I want to try, for family, my friends, and me and even for people like you who dislike us Stephen. It's that important to our freedoms to disagree, agree, protest, and discuss.
Best to you and don’t hesitate to write any time.

Your article dated 2nd February 2005 - "Women Of Iraq- Rend Your Veils and

Ms. Marsala,
I have more freedoms than you. No countries are forbidden me, nor websites, nor any radio stations. I may grow peanuts anywhere they'll take, and marry one of my same sex at any willing church. Do I hate America? I despise your war lobby, and when I hear of more deaths in Iraq, I pray they are American. Enough Iraqis have died already. -SC
Dear Sean,
Thanks for taking the time to email me. I appreciate all those who do. I can understand despising any type of violence, but really praying that the deaths are more Americans is sad. Most Americans overall and probably most people globally, don't pray for anyone to be murdered. Yes, enough people have died and it isn't just Iraqis. The senselessness that comes with your rational is troubling. Perhaps that is why the world for as long as it has existed has had hate, murder, envy, and strife. It is my prayer Sean for you and for anyone else that they shouldn't have to suffer being murdered by the hands of those who hate. That is what really being an American with a foundation of ethics/morals is about- praying for people who continue to hate and praying that the killing stops. Take care, Ms. Marsala
Ms. Marsala,
you are misreading...if I hear of deaths in Iraq, I hope they are not more Iraqi dead. If I hear of more deaths in Palestine, I hope they are Israeli, for the same reason. If an Iraqi death meant as much as an American's, to the US people, your troops would be outta there. I don't wish death on anyone. I believe Bush doesn't either; he's like a driver who feels bad about running over a squirrel, but he's not about to stop driving.
Let's take his keys. -SC
(Re: George Bush and His Kool-Aid Drink'n Buddies)
If you hate "socialists" so much, perhaps you should have your ten year
old kids go to work for eighty hours a week for a while, and get back to me on what it's like to live without the aid of people who died for the right to be treated as something other than disposable labor.
Hitler espoused "family values" as well, and jailed the "social" democrats, and
waged a war of choice, and claimed a state interest in reproduction, and laughed at the Geneva Conventions as "quaint", no doubt. Hate all you want.
May it stay in your black heart forever. You deserve nothing less.
Cheers, an american veteran- V. B.

(Re: Holy Parental Injustices Batman)
Hello:
In response to your article entitled "Holy Parental Injustices Batman", I am
in agreement with much of what you stated. However, while not defending the
radical actions that you refer to, I would also point out that your quote,
"Our hearts need to go out
to these parents who are having their children stolen from them by
the viciousness of a former spouse. We need parental rights groups
to work through the justice system, fight with the law on their
side, pray for the best thing to happen for their children and to
place the focus on loving their child-not just trying to win or
score in the battle of the "Jones'";
is somewhat inaccurate. Your statement has an underlying assumption that
the justice system does in fact work. Clearly this is not the case. I have
endeavored through the "injustice" system for a long time, having gone to
court 16 (yes 16!) times in the last 5 months and still have not been able
to even see my children. My ex has sucessfully perpertrated a false and
malicious restraining order and it was granted by a judge. Judge William R.
DeLorenzo of the NJ Superior Court in Bergen County, who was formerly a
partner at Nowell, Amoroso, Klein, Bierman, was a trustee and board member
of the First Real Estate Investment Trust Fund of New Jersey, and who has a
long standing relationship with my ex' attorney who has dealt in NJ
Municipal real estate transactions for many years, has simply ignored the
law as defined by NJ Statutes. Given that judges are appointed by the
governor (in this case Gov. McGreevey), there is no possibility of the
"justice system" even existing, let alone functioning. My point simply
being that it may be just plain naive to believe that one can simply
persist within the confines of the court system and achieve even the
simplest of things, like just being able to see your own children who you
love more than anything. Unfortunately, groups like N.O.W. , the Trial
Lawyer Association, and other media coddled, Democrat strongholds have done
much to take simple civil liberties away from citizens like myself and from
my children, all in an effort to appease an over zealous, female driven,
vindictive, and equally radical left wing, who have done far more harm
through their everyday, underhanded endeavors, their corrupt "quid pr quos"
from lawyer to judge to legislator than any frustrated "caped crusader"
might do by hanging a sign. We need more "batman": mandatory joint custody
solves nearly all these problems, but will never come to fruition because
the trial lawyers don't want it, the judges don't want it and the
extortionist feminist groups don't want it, all for the same reason: it
hurts their revenue stream, plain and simple. Until we as a society can get
more accountability from our legislative and judicial branches, we should
hope that we have a few more "batmen" out there! - S.F.
(Re: John Kerry and The Wailers or Thrower of Ashes and Render of Clothes)
K. L.,
You probably don't respond to any of these emails that haven't been sent from the Christian Coalition or the RNC, but your essay contained serious errors. My conservative friends send enough refuse from Insight that I check in every once in a while all on my own. Fortunately, your thesis is as ridiculous as so many others from this little corner of the Republican hate machine.
Why don't you turn your indignation toward the gaping hole that rebuilding Iraq will tear into our national debt? Where is your outrage for funding faith-based initiatives? As I understand, centers of religious worship are excluded from Federal tax rolls. Yet, although they don't add one penny to the national treasury, they're able to request funds from the Executive branch for charity? Where is your outrage for the assault weapons ban sunset on Monday? Your candidate made a campaign promise, but he can't make a telephone call to either majority leader to heed the pleas of law enforcement officers to extend the ban (as flawed as it seems to be): Thank you Bill Frist and Tom Delay for sparing from his own misguided promise. Why aren't you outraged at the veto record under W? Your argument is replete with inaccuracies, but I wonder if you even recognize the lies? J. J.
Dear J.J. Not only did I respond to your email to me, even though I am a Christian... I also put your letter on my letter page. So everyone can read it.

Interesting article, but lacking. Children will not correctly submit to
parents who consider themselves to be equals. No one can serve 2 masters,
they will love one and hate the other- usually Dad is the hated one. Wives
who submit to husbands produce impressive children, even if those husbands
are froward.

(Re: article Ray Ramono-Stand Up For Your Rights)
FYI...there are thousands of men's rights groups. But we don't get the funding like the feminazis, and have to finance everything ourselves, and even then can't get amy support from any form of government. In fact, we are up against not only the feminazis, but the leftist media, universities, politicians, Hollywood, Bar Associations, and the judiciary. We are not politically correct, even as we have, especially as fathers, essentially zero rights. Rights are for women, and responsibility is for men, haven't you heard?
Things are so bad that when a mother molests her children, and the father objects, the state will step in and get rid of the father. That's what passes for "Child Protection Services" these days. I should know, its what happened to me, and I am certainly not alone.
Then we have twits like John Kerry proclaiming "We need to put the law back on the side of women" as if the law wasn't already on the side of women, and as if those laws about equality under the law don't exist.
Then of course there are many unselfish women who recognize the disparities, but most of them seem to think "you guys need to take back your rights". Women like that would do well to learn how difficult it is for men to get heard, and how easy it is for them to get heard. For example, I get the "he just doesn't want to pay child support" brush off all of the time, even though I haven't been required to pay that for nearly a year. The next most popular brush off is "he hates women", which like the first is far from the truth, but very effective in silencing males. People buy this crap then go watch Raymond - that's just how it is.
My point is, though I have been working on this diligently for years, you could be heard much easier and with a lot less effort, simply because of the rampant discrimination against males. There are a lot of people saying "you need", even saying "we need", but precious few, epsecially females, actually doing something about it.
Thanks for the article,
T.S.
I really liked your article. You are quite right, men need to stand up for
ourselves. We do take the brunt of all the bashing in the media. I think the public has run out of people to make fun of. Since it is no longer "PC" to make fun of minorities or immigrants, the last group is the male. It is probably why men in my age bracket 20-40 are watching less and less TV.
From the show Tool Time to Everybody Loves Raymond, the media really portrays men in a negative light. I simply can't watch TV anymore. Maybe that's a good thing. There are some groups to battle this trend. One is mensactivism.com and the Glen Sacks radio show "His Side." I agree with
you. Its about time that we men say and do something. Not in a counterattack mode, that would just make it worse. But we should stand up for ourselves. Good article.

(Re: Flash the WMD's Have Been Found!)
As a freelance writer myself, and as one who also
relies on humor to make a point, I wish to commend you
on your efforts at inane commentary.
Your 'words' did a fine job of showing who you are,
but the 'big picture' of the article was not very
funny....unless, of course, your world view defines a
'cruci-fiction' as 'funny'.
fyi--I am not a republican, nor am I a democrat. I am
human. As a human, I read your article feeling a
great deal of shame FOR you. It then occurred to me
you were probably writing about what you
know----yourself, a woman of mass destruction--and
perhaps projecting on to someone else so that you did
not have to 'see' it within you. Who wants to be
wrong? It's is easier to blame someone else for that
part of you that you refuse to look at.
Again, I congratulate you. You sure know how to
'strut your stuff'.

(Re: Don't You Cry for Amber Frey)
Your opinion is a breath of fresh air. I am so sick of Gloria Allred trying to push her client's image as a good mother who breastfeeds her new son (another illegitimate child). Of course Amber Frey has a lot to gain financially from the publicity of this trial and her lawyer will gain as well. I agree, no tears coming from me either for Ms. Amber Frey. J Perry
I read your article Don't you Cry for Amber Frey on the internet. Although I can understand your frustration, I think you're out of touch with the way most young adults conduct their lives.
Plenty of people in their right mind go to bed on the first date. No woman thinks the man she meets is a murderer. While it may be true that Amber has low self-esteem, you have to remember that Scott Peterson is a true sociopath he could make her believe he was sincere and caring, enough so that she let him pick up her daughter. Frey didn't think of Peterson as a complete stranger. He didn't act like some bum, he acted like a man in love who wanted to pledge his lifelong commitmentto Frey. Even though you wouldn't conduct your sex life as she does, she obviously wanted to believe that he was sincere and wanted to be cared for, so she fell for it.
Frey wanted to hear what Scott had to sell. She may have been a bit naive, or maybe she was just lonely and trying to connect with someone. Peterson would not have zeroed in on a tough, competent, secure woman, because that kind of person would NOT have been waiting for what he had to sell.
I don't think of her as a victim and I don't think she puts that image forth. She's never once claimed she was a victim. It just makes her sad to hear the conversations and think how much she believed Scott.
I think she shows poor judgment but she is certainly not insane or immorial or anything like that.
